Jamie Gratton taking part in a wet & wild challenge at last summer’s ‘It’s A Knockout’ competition for St Giles Hospice
Who remembers “It’s a Knock Out” on our TV screens? For those who remember the 70′s should remember the popular TV show. St Giles Hospice have teamed up with Knockout Roadshow to host the show on Lichfield Cathedrals Schools playing fields on 9 August.
Teams of 10 are invited to take part in the BBC hit based competition, that promises to be a laugh a minute for both competitors and spectators. The organisers have scoured the archives of the hit show to ensure that this years eent recreates the madness and myahem of what is described as a “school sports day for adults”.
Teams will take part in wet and wild challenges, massive inflatables, wacky costumes and a huge array of goo inspired games.
Sarah Shelton, Community Fund Raiser for St Giles said;
“This is a great way for friends, family and work colleagues to get their hands dirty – literally – for charity.
“Professional events company Knockout Roadshow will be organising all the fun and games, and we’re are asking teams of 10 to sign up by contacting us now!”
If you are interested in taking part in this “knockout” event, minimum sponsorship per team member is £50 and entry forms are available from the St Giles Hospice Fund Raising Office or contact Sarah Shelton on 01543 432538 or email.
