A week long coffee morning?

Lyn Shiel and Jayne Tooth will be popping on the kettle to support St Giles Hospice’s first ever Mammoth Coffee Morning Week
St Giles Hospice will be holding a mammoth, week long Coffee morning week between Monday 27 July and Saturday 1 August.
It is hoped that the event running throughout the region will see hundreds of colleagues, clubs, families and friends putting the kettle on in support of the local St Giles Hospice charity.
Although coffee themed, it is hoped that organisers of small or large coffee mornings will find other ways of fundraising, maybe including summer smoothies and cakes to the coffee. Helen Relihan, Head of Fundraising at St Giles Hospice, said:
“From a cup of coffee with a best friend to inviting neighbours, colleagues or club members to take a little time out to relax with a cuppa, people can choose how they support Mammoth Coffee Week.
“Hot drinks and summer smoothies could be combined with cakes, a quiz, raffle or auction, or people might wish to hold a ‘coffee evening’ instead, and impress their guests with delicious coffee-flavoured liqueurs.
“A number of local groups have already signed up to this brand new event in the St Giles calendar, and whatever people choose to do to support Mammoth Coffee Morning Week, we want to make sure everybody takes a little time out to have fun while raising much-needed funds for St Giles!”
