Odeon Tamworth this week unveil the latest in cinema technology with the introduction of a Digital 3D screen. For the first time Tamworth cinema goers will be able to watch the latest in cinema technology, starting Friday with 3D Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Final Destination 3D.
How does it work?
Linda Spears ODEON administrator said of the new 3D screen:
“You feel like the action is taking place around you rather then in front of you.
“It is only £2.25 (adults) or £2.00 (Children) more than the normal ticket price. It really is a different experience and something I would recommend if you haven’t tried it. It is a real premium viewing experience, immersing you into the on-screen action, with sharp, crystal clear images and sound quality”
Watch out for the cinema times which will be posted on Tamworth Blog Friday morning.

*Only* £2.25 more than the normal price?! The normal price is extortionate enough as it is! For the price of two normal Odeon tickets I can get unlimited screenings at Cineworld in Burton every month.. and it’s only up the road.
£8.75 for a 3D showing is ludicrous!
Hahaha, the two characters in the picture look like they’ve just seen the price of the tickets.
Yeah Burton’s great for films.
