The upcoming half term week, children and parents alike will be treated to spooky goings on at Drayton Manor Theme Park.

Amongst the fun to be had at the park during half term week, the park will be introducing a new film to their new 4D cinema.  The film ‘Haunted House’ is an animated feature full of frights for the audience, as they explore a haunted building through the eyes of a cat. The experience is made all the more scary by the special effects in the 4D Cinema, including chairs that move up and down, sprays of water and bursts of air.

Alongside the new film, the park will also be hosting a special live stage show called Spooky Spectacular, following the exploits of friendly ghost Jasper.

The park will also be hosting special illuminated walks through the zoo during the evenings.

Of course, the end of the season wouldn’t be complete without the parks annual firework spectacular and this years are extra special as it marks the start of the parks 60th anniversary.

Colin Bryan said of the events:

“This will be a half-term to remember. The new 4D film will give audiences a real fright and I’m sure the Spooky Spectacular stage show will prove to be a hit with visitors.

“In addition, everyone at the park is excited about the start of our Diamond Jubilee celebrations, and there’s no better way to launch it than with two nights of amazing fireworks and laser displays.”
