Camera phones are great and have proved to give us a first hand view of the fire at the Jet garage in Fazeley that caused traffic chaos around Tamworth during the rush hour on Friday March 5. You can see the fire break through the roof of the Jet garage as firefighters fight the blaze.

Dear R.Pritchard,

I am writting to inform you that since the Fazeley Jet garage fire on March 5th (Friday) nothing has been done to clear the pathways. I am very upset by this as firsty the pathways were blocked to the people of Fazeley and this then meant that it was hard to get around when walking on the pathways. People with wheelchairs were unable to travel on the paths and people with pushchairs also found this difficult. People were unsafely walking on the road as the pathway was blocked of.

Also since March there is still glass and left over rubble on the floor outside the Jet garage. This is extremely unsafe. Also this is visual polloution and makes Fazeley look awful.

I am asking if this mess could be cleaned up soon to make Fazeley a safer and nicer looking place.

Looks like that fire was well underway by the time the fire department got there.
