Westlife wowed over 20,000 fans this evening (Sunday July 18)by performing a full 90 minute set, bringing the Midland Music Festival to a close.

This year saw the festival spread over two days, with the head liners undoubtedly being the boy band from Ireland.

Many people had camped over night to get their front row position to watch the boys. We have plenty more photos coming for you over the next few days.

Had a absolutely awesome time at the festival with a huge thank you to Mike who organised the VIP tour and side stage viewing. Westlife were the highlight but all the acts were amazing!

Brill time had by our group. Even the weather came good in the end.! All singers were fantastic, loved Ollie Murs, Alexander Burke and Peter Andre expecially. Thought Westlife were brill but possibly a little too many ballads to end the show, I personally would have preferred a louder rock type end like Peter Andre, Superb show nonetheless.
